CTI software enables your computers to interact with your telephone system.
The software runs on a Windows-based PC independently of the telephone handset, it monitors your extension activity and also gives you an indication of other extensions in use. |
By running CTI software on your computer you can link into other databases, such as Microsoft Outlook, Sage ACT!, or any other type of database to directly lookup and call contacts from your computer screen.
Incoming calls are also referenced against these database links so that you have an on-screen caller ID lookup facility.
A TAPI dialling facility also provides a link between your telephone system and other software on your computer that is TAPI compliant. |
